Curious to know my weekly marketing schedule? I am pulling back the curtain in this week’s marketing strategy.
I think it’s important to see how solopreneurs manage their businesses, especially their marketing. It’s a way to see how you can improve your own processes and benchmark others’ practices into your own business.
And it provides amazing inspiration. Trust me: If I can do this, so can you!
If you don’t have a weekly marketing schedule, I hope my blog post will inspire you to start one. Part of your marketing success involves a daily marketing habit. When you have a daily marketing habit, you don’t think about marketing. It just becomes part of your day.
Ready, set, let’s get marketing!

BLOG:
Every week, I follow a marketing schedule. I have tried lots of different marketing tactics and strategies since becoming an entrepreneur in 2010, and through this experience, I have created a process that works for me.
This process has evolved over time, and will continue to do so, but the essence of what I’m doing is the same: Creating blocks of time in my weekly calendar for implementing marketing.
Let’s take a look.
My weekly marketing schedule
I have one business development day (Mondays) when I don’t schedule any calls; I have three days for teaching and other Zoom calls (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays); and I have one day for networking and personal development (Fridays).
Here’s how this breaks down:
Mondays (Business Development Day): Write blog post, create graphics, write ezine, write book review, prepare Virtual Networkers weekly promotion, post to Facebook Groups, add blog post to Facebook Notes, cross-post a video to another Facebook page, write sales copy and emails, and prepare for promotions
Tuesdays (Teaching Day): Post a #TestimonialTuesday on Instagram and Facebook, promote a lead magnet on Instagram and Facebook, promote weekly Virtual Networkers meeting on Facebook, post in Facebook Groups, record weekly video, and send materials to my VA for weekly ezine
Wednesdays (Teaching Day): Send video to Rev.com to get captions done, post to Facebook Groups, and promote book review on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
Thursdays (Teaching Day): Upload weekly marketing strategy video to Facebook and Instagram, promote blog post on Pinterest and Twitter, promote Virtual Networkers meeting on Instagram and Facebook, and post to Facebook Groups
Fridays (Networking and Personal Development Day): Facilitate weekly Virtual Networkers meeting, post to Facebook Groups, promote blog post again on Facebook and Instagram, and work on personal development tasks
Exceptions and variances
Exceptions to this schedule happen during my monthly week off. During my week off, I am not teaching or working with clients through Zoom, which gives me time to work on course prep, curriculum design, book club discussions, promotional calendars, and whatever else needs to get done.
Are there variances? Of course. Life happens. I practice forgiveness and plan a way to catch up on anything I have missed.
Otherwise, I stick to this schedule. I use a paper planner and weekly to-do list to help me keep things on track. I complete my weekly to-do list on Sundays, which sets the pace for the week.
Now that I’ve shared my weekly marketing schedule with you, are you inspired to create your own? I hope so. Consistency is a big part of marketing, so when you can create a marketing schedule, you will be showing up all the time for your ideal clients.
One more parting thought: You are in control of your time. Set boundaries. Give yourself permission to block tasks, coaching calls, networking meetings, and whatever else occupies your calendar. Not only will you be more productive, you’ll feel better too.

ABOUT JILL
Hi, I’m Jill Celeste. I teach purpose-driven entrepreneurs (just like you) everything you need to know about marketing so you can become the Director of Marketing for your business.
Because when you put your Director of Marketing hat squarely on your head, marketing is your number one priority (which will result in more clients!).
When I am not teaching about marketing, you’ll find me hanging out with my husband or my teenage boys, or taking a nap with my basset hound, Emma. I also like to play with my two kittens and feed the backyard ducks (much to my neighbor’s chagrin).
