Let’s talk about something that’s been shifting under our noses for a while now: how we network.
For decades, the prevailing model of networking has been rooted in masculine energy—transactional, goal-oriented, competitive. And for some people, that works just fine.
But for many women entrepreneurs? It doesn’t.
We crave something different. Something deeper. And finally, those spaces are emerging and thriving.
Feminine-Energy Networking
We are witnessing the rise of feminine-energy networking.
Women are no longer trying to squeeze themselves into outdated networking spaces that were never designed for us.
We’re building our own tables, ones rooted in collaboration, authenticity, and connection. These are communities where there’s room for your full self. Where there’s space for tears, joy, vulnerability, ambition, and growth. No referral quotas. No performance pressure. Just women showing up as they are, and being celebrated for it.
Virtual Networkers was one of the first tables of its kind. When I founded it in 2018—long before Zoom fatigue and pandemic pivots—it was the first virtual networking organization specifically for women entrepreneurs. We weren’t copying the old models. We were carving out a brand new one. A table where no one had to fight for a seat, and where everyone was encouraged to bring wisdom to share.
And now? I’m seeing even more of these kinds of spaces pop up. It makes me proud and hopeful. Women now have options. And more often than not, they’re choosing communities that feel aligned, supportive, and rooted in relationships—not transactions.
Women Network Differently
We talk about our lives. We cry sometimes. We laugh—a lot. We offer help without needing a kickback. We show up with our whole selves, not just our elevator pitch.
Feminine-energy networking honors the full woman.
This isn’t about tossing masculine energy aside. Structure, drive, and results have a place. But when we blend that with intuition, empathy, and generosity? That’s when the magic happens.
The future of networking isn’t about competition.
It’s about community. It’s about belonging. It’s about being seen—not just as a business owner, but as a whole, radiant, powerful woman.
That’s the future I’m building.
That’s the future we are building.
