We are not here to be small. Not in body. Not in voice. Not in value. And certainly not in business.
But from the time we are little girls, we are taught to shrink—physically and energetically. We’re praised for losing weight, being quiet, not rocking the boat. We’re told smaller is better.
But who does that serve?
- It serves the systems that rely on our silence.
- It serves the patriarchy that thrives when women are too busy criticizing their bodies to speak up.
- It serves the corporations that sell us fixes for problems they created.
- It serves the status quo that fears what happens when a woman steps fully into her power.
My Story: When I Shrunk My Business
When I first launched my coaching business, I created a package where someone could buy three coaching calls from me for $150. That’s $50 per session.
It sold.
But every time I showed up to coach, I felt like I was betraying myself. I was giving so much, for so little. And worst of all? It didn’t attract the right clients.
I felt undervalued, unseen, and discouraged. That package almost made me quit my business entirely.
But something inside me said, no more.
I scrapped the entire offer and launched a new package that aligned with my value, my energy, and my worth.
That decision changed everything. Because I stopped shrinking.
Shrinking Isn’t Humility—It’s Erasure
Women have been taught to equate smallness with humility.
But here’s the truth: Shrinking doesn’t make you humble. It makes you invisible.
You were never meant to be quiet, cheap, convenient, or easy to digest. You were meant to be whole. Loud. Valuable. Seen.
Please, Loud Woman, no more shrinking. Not in body. Not in voice. Not in business.
