Meet Hanne Broter
Briefly describe how you help people through your business.
I help heart-centered entrepreneurs and light workers find and visualize their unique greatness and attract their ideal clients. I work with them to make sure their graphic design and visual branding reflect the great value they bring to their clients. I also love to teach graphic design and visual branding to entrepreneurs who have to be their own marketing directors and in-house designers.
Who are your ideal clients? Who do you heal or help?
My ideal clients are entrepreneurs and businesses that provide services that enhance people’s lives, like all kinds of coaches, trainers, authors and educational organisations. They all need to look as valuable as their services are, and when working with them, I feel like I’m part of their team, proudly taking part in their mission.
How do you help people?
Much of what I do consists of explaining to my present and potential clients the crucial importance of how their businesses looks. Then I help them choose or create the visual elements that will make their businesses look authentic, professional and visually consistent.
What is your typical day like?
I start my day with a quick outdoor stroll with my dog Brandy, in all kinds of weather. Then we have some breakfast, I do some reading and journaling and Brandy goes to sleep again – usually in MY bed! Then I work for about 3 hours with client work of different kinds and we have a longer lunch-time walk about 11, both of us taking in the looks and smells of the nature and landscape where we live, which is gorgeous. After this, I work again some hours before dinner. In the afternoons and evenings, I very often attend some Celestial class or activity and work on my own marketing.
What makes your business so much fun?
For two reasons:
1. To be able to help my clients spread their messages by creating their visual communication.
2. For the pure joy of working with graphic design; shapes, colors, fonts and typography, illustrations and images. I thrive within the Adobe softwares!
Which feature of The Celestial Circle do you like best and why?
I love the monthly learning topics, especially when they push me out my comfort zone in any way (which they often do!) I know for sure that I would never have done (on my own accord) some of the things I actually HAVE done as a result of Jill pushing us. She is tough love!
Why did you join The Celestial Circle?
I had been a student/client of Jill in other programs when she started the Celestial Circle, and I had no doubt what so ever that I would follow her there. In hindsight, it seems like “coming home”.
What results have you experienced from being in The Celestial Circle?
MINDSET above all! I am a Norwegian sceptic with mega-sized inner critics of an aggressive viking-minded sort. Nearly 2 years in the Celestial Circle have thought me to speak to myself in a kinder way. When I succeed in doing that, I am able to benefit from the outstanding marketing teachings that we have from Jill in the Circle. Thanks!
How important is The Celestial Circle community? Other Celestial Circle sisters?
Very important. They are all amazing women! With some I have developed especially close connections, worked with them and seeing them outside the Circle, virtually, since I live in Norway. The atmosphere in the Circle, both in classes and in the Facebook group, is supportive, empathic and down to earth.
What would you say to someone who’s on the fence about joining The Celestial Circle?
Just do it.
