Briefly describe how you help people through your business.
Highlander Press guides entrepreneurs through the entire process of becoming an author, from idea through promotion.
Who are your ideal clients? Who do you heal or help?
We help heart-centered entrepreneurs who have a big mission in the world and a compelling WHY. Their books are part of the change they bring to our world.
How do you help people?
Creating clarity of purpose, confidence in mission, and achieving something they’ve always dreamed of: becoming a published author of a book they’re incredibly proud of.
What is your typical day like?
I wake up early, meditate, walk Fergus, enjoy coffee, and catch up on publishing news over breakfast. Then I head to my office, where I’ll host Write-Ins, meet with clients, edit books, or work on my business. My days end around five-ish. Then I begin my schoolwork!
What makes your business so much fun?
I LOVE books! And working with seriously the BEST clients makes my business such a joy. I sometimes have to pause and soak in how incredibly lucky I am.
Which feature of Celestial University do you like best?
I love everything about Celestial University, but if I have to pick one thing I would say the library. Why? It’s jam-packed with goodness. Just last week, I spent several hours relearning Instagram using the CU library.
Why did you join Celestial University?
Jill, the dean of Celestial University, has a unique way of bringing the most amazing people together. I’m so grateful to her for the community she’s building, and it’s such a privilege to be a member.
What results have you experienced from being in Celestial University?
Nearly all my business is generated from referrals: people who know me from Celestial University, or who have heard me speak, or who have been referred by CU members. I would say I’ve doubled my clients since joining. Certainly, this is because my mindset continues to grow, and I receive such loving encouragement from Jill and the other members.
How important is the community and sisterhood?
Celestial University’s community is CRUCIAL to my business success.
What would you say to someone who’s on the fence about joining Celestial University?
