Virtual Networkers

Jill Celeste,
Founder of Virtual Networkers

When I would like more clients, I always do one thing: create space for them.

If your life, mind, calendar, or Dropbox is cluttered, you’re sending a clear signal to The Universe that there’s no room for more.

The Universe is literal, my friend. If you want more clients, you need to make space for them.

To help you, here are activities (most are fun!) to create more space for your new clients. I’ve also added some exercises to help you make more money and improve your abundance mindset. All of these have worked for me, but please be discerning and choose the ones that feel good to you.

Decluttering for Clients and Cash Flow

Try these activities if you’d like more clients:

  • Create empty file folders—physical or digital—for the new clients you’re calling in.
  • Add space to your calendar for their appointments.
  • Write thank-you notes in advance, ready for each new client who says “yes.”

Try these activities if you want more money:

  • Clear out your wallet. If you carry cash, treat it with love. I make sure all of my bills are in numerical order and facing the same direction. Also, take a look at your wallet—is it worn out or ripped? Your money deserves a nice home (whatever that looks like for you).
  • Clean out your purse. It’s easy to toss in receipts, gum wrappers, and your kid’s pacifier, but it all creates clutter. Just like your wallet, ensure your purse is free of rips, tears, and stains. It’s a vessel for your money!
  • Declutter your files—physical and electronic. Create space in your life by clearing out what no longer serves you in your filing system.
  • Organize a drawer. Cleaning and tidying a drawer is the ultimate decluttering exercise, and it won’t take long. It’s also a great pattern interrupter when your mindset is stuck in scarcity mode.

Three Fun Abundance Practices

If you’re ready to invite more abundance into your business, try these practices:

Dollar Drop – Take 30 one-dollar bills and leave one around your community each day for 30 days. Ask The Universe to help the right person find it and thank The Universe for your abundance. This simple act sends a powerful signal that you believe in abundance and are willing to share it.

$100 Wallet Game – Place a $100 bill in your wallet and leave it there for 30 days. As you go about your day, notice what you could buy with it, feeling the joy of knowing you could, if you wanted to. This game expands your sense of possibility and stretches your abundance mindset. (Hat tip to Esther & Jerry Hicks for this one.)

Track Your Abundance – Use a money tracker to record every dollar you receive, whether it’s a client payment, a found coin, a coupon saving, or an unexpected refund. Every penny counts, and tracking your abundance helps you see how much is already flowing your way.

Make It Easy for The Universe

Decluttering and boosting your abundance mindset are two sure-fire ways to attract clients. The exercises outlined here are fun, quick, and effective. Try one or more, and see how it fares for you. I think you’ll love the results.
