I’ve declared 2020 as the “Year of Loud Women,” and in this week’s marketing strategy, I will explain why you need to get loud in 2020.
“Loud” may have a negative connotation, and certain loud things can be annoying.
However, I am not talking about annoying loud things. I am talking about making Meaningful Noise™ – when you share transformative messages constantly, consistently, and doggedly to your ideal clients.
Throughout the year, I’ll share different ways to be loud, but first, let’s tackle the mindset behind my “get loud” marketing philosophy.
So, why do you need to get loud in 2020? Let’s find out.

2020 is here, and as the “Year of Loud Women,” it’s our job as female entrepreneurs to make more noise in the marketplace.
Does this sound scary, unnecessary, or painful?
No worries – I will demystify these feelings by explaining why we need to get louder.
#1: Women will change the world
It’s not a coincidence that we hear messages such as “the future is female.” The Universe is giving women huge signs that we are here for a purpose – to make the world a better place.
Don’t get me wrong: We have been blessed with many male leaders. From political leaders to motivational speakers, from civil rights activists to inventors, many men have been (and continue to be) changemakers. I am grateful for each one.
Nevertheless, patriarchy has often brought us down the worst roads.
I believe (quite firmly) that women see the crossroads we’re at and want to contribute. We know we can change the world. Others will disagree, which is why we must be loud – to drown out the naysayers and reach more receptive ears.
#2: Female entrepreneurs have endless opportunities to be changemakers
Now let’s shift to our population – the female entrepreneur. We are in such a wonderful position to create a major impact on the world.
How? By sharing our Gifts! It doesn’t matter what your Gifts are; no Gift is too small or inconsequential.
With every client, social media follower, blog reader, sales prospect – we are making an impact.
Here’s what I want you to remember: Your Gifts are Divine. They are God given. You shouldn’t hide them, which is why you need to get louder.
#3: Create a butterfly effect
The butterfly effect is defined as a “phenomenon whereby a minute localized change in a complex system can have large effects elsewhere.”
Each of us, as entrepreneurs, is a butterfly. We transform and grow our magnificent wings, and as we flutter around, we change things. These changes – no matter how small they may seem – create a ripple effect.
Imagine if every female entrepreneur in the world got louder, telling more people about her Gifts, about how she can improve lives, and how she can positively transform our communities.
Unstoppable? Yes. Transcendent? You bet. Changemaking? Absolutely.
It starts with one butterfly, brave enough to flap her wings; courageous enough to tell others constantly, consistently, and doggedly about her Gifts.
You see: As a female entrepreneur (no matter what profession you’re in), you are the changemaker the world needs right now.
With corrupt politics, increasing carbon dioxide levels, social injustices, and everything else plaguing our world, we need our changemakers – now more than ever.

ABOUT JILL
Hi, I’m Jill Celeste. I teach purpose-driven entrepreneurs (just like you) everything you need to know about marketing so you can become the Director of Marketing for your business.
Because when you put your Director of Marketing hat squarely on your head, marketing is your number one priority (which will result in more clients!).
When I am not teaching about marketing, you’ll find me hanging out with my husband or my sons, loving up my two cats, or feeding the backyard ducks (much to my neighbor’s chagrin). I am an avid reader of literary fiction and personal development books. And I like to talk to my sweet basset hound, Emma, who left this earthly plane on October 17, 2019.
